We love Buzz light year
Will the real Buzz standup! Ian & Max love pretend. When asked what his name is Ian replies, "Buzz" and he is serious. So Brent and I bought them wings. They took them home of course.
I'm buzz light year!

I have been remiss in keeping up this summer. So here are some things in a nut shell.
Ian fractured his leg and had to have a couple of casts.

I took a trip with my mom to Yellowstone the end of September. Pictures will never do justice to Yellowstone.
I have canned Choke Cherry syrup and Spaghetti sauce, salsa & tomatoes. My tomato plants did much better than expected. I always think of a talk I heard where we were asked what will we tell the Lord when he asked why we wasted the bounty he sent? Plus I enjoy the satisfaction of knowing where my food comes from. Organic at it’s best!

Family time! I think it's great. So many are not with us any more except in spirit.
These are my mom's brothers she had 6 of them. Ronald (3rd), Bernard (2nd) , Greg (6th), Warren (4th), Loren (5th) is not pictured and Sonny (1st) is no longer with us. My mom was the oldest and claimed all she ever did was change diapers!
This is my dad and his three sisters. Karalou ( 3rd), Qwendalyn (2nd), Zolamae (1st), Duane (4th), & Donald (5th) the youngest brother is no longer around either, but all branches were represented at the reunion. The little boy on Karalou's lap is Hayden, Vickie's grandson.

5-14/15-9 Golfing the Wendover Tour
Golfing on what Brent calls “The Wendover tour”, was a lot of fun. Great company. I hope to win the Lexus their giving away in June. The Indian Paint Brushes (plant) were in bloom along hole numuber 17. Lots of lizards, horn toads, and the Antelope were around. It was a bit cold on the second day so the men brought out the golf covers. What a difference! Then it warmed up and all was good. The first day we paly some what well. The second day no birdies but no double bogies either! So we ended in 3rd place “net” . Makes the man happy, and we end on a positive note, gambling was “take my money now”.

Grand Canyon
We are back from the Grand Canyon. We headed to Vegas to take a dryer to Jill, then on to Grand Canyon. I haven't been before and I really wnated to go on the Sky Walk. The Canyon is 278 mile long and 107 are owned by the Hualapai Tribe. To see the canyon thru the eyes of the residents is a treat although very expensive!. $59 per person to take their bus tour and then $29 to take the Sky Walk. But I did not travel all that way not too walk in the sky!
It reminded me of when Brent and I took Grandpa Cagle & Grandma to Monument Valley, he (JIm) took many a picture down there, but to see those areas now you need to go with and pay for an escort from the tribes. Grandpa said to "tell them to go to hell!" (rather than pay) But when we got in the reservation that is the areas he and Helen remembered the best. He also said that "if you see a one armed Indian going into the bathroom don't follow, he may need help."
Any way the walk is of glass but pictures are not allowed on the walk but for $30 they will sell you professional pictures. It was a blast! Then on to Green Springs, by way of Zions, to Golf. Brent sounded so much like his dad because we had to pay $25 bucks to enter the canyons. Next year I may just buy a season pass, no he is not old enough for the senior pass.

Work is growing time to head south!
The more I work the more work there is to do. So we're heading south! To the Sky Walk at the Grand Canyon.
